February 16, 2013, Saturday (2-5pm) @ Pho bac Restaurant
At some point in our life, we all dread the elderhood stage of life. We fear of becoming immobile, very ill and having to retire from work or stop a career that has been very fulfilling with us. We do a lot of things to keep our youth. We exercise, diet, go to the spa or buy the newest beauty products. No wonder the wellness industry is so in demand and booming these days. It’s target are the baby boomers’ generation who are now taking it slow in their years.
They say that once you reach this stage of life, prepare to be forgetful, cranky and some become even hard to leave with. In a society that dictates or stereotypes everything we forget to look within ourselves and see if all these things are true for us. There may be a standard or a norm that has been scientifically proven but remember that we have our individuality to hold on to. Often times, we take into ourselves what others say that might be inapplicable to us in the first place. “Know thyself” according to Socrates, is where the Greeks start their foundations of Philosophy. We should be confident with who we are and we can never go wrong with that.
Join us on a Saturday afternoon, let’s celebrate life through a joyous meal. Let’s talk about our greatest moments in life, as well as the things that still might be burdening us. Let us help ourselves not to think too much of death and the anxiety that comes with it. Let us all live in the moment once again, but don’t waste time by hesitating to show that we care for our loved ones as that moment won’t come back again. Let us show you how to make the most out of each moment there is with your loved ones. We may have been busy all our lives, trying to make a living to raise our family. Now we are free from all the obligation, not to mention we get discounts everywhere, let the rest of the time be spent on them and on ourselves. So take time out for yourself and join us. Know more about the phase of life you are in and relate better to your family.
